Health Insurance Reimbursement

Everyone with basic health insurance is entitled to € 465,= reimbursement for a hair piece or wig, when partial or full hair loss is caused by illness or medical treatment (including chemotherapy).

With extra health insurance coverage, you will probably get a higher reimbursement. When the bill exceeds the maximum health insurance reimbursement amount, the remaining sum will have to be paid out-of-pocket.
